  • The Canoe Club Ballroom is set in the woods along the Nunckatessett River and has many different spaces to help make your day perfect. For decades, guests have taken advantage of our two acres of beautifully landscaped, riverside courtyard to create the perfect scenic view to host their proms and dances and to take amazing timeless photos. Indoors, our ballroom boasts the largest hardwood dance floor in New England as well as plenty of space for even the largest celebration. The CCB has plenty of areas for al to enjoy including our lounge area with a river view. Our secluded spot nestled deep in nature will wow all who attend while providing the perfect spot for their special day.

riverside courtyard

You will have exclusive access to our two acres of beautifully manicured courtyard for formal photos. Enjoy amazing photos by the pergola entrance, the gazebo, or anywhere throughout the riverside courtyard nestled in the woods.

grand ballroom

Our Grand Ballroom offers an elegant celebration experience for all to enjoy. All who attend will first enjoy a cocktail hour perfect for formal photo time followed by a reception including a three-course meal. After dinner, celebrate and dance the day away on the largest dance floor in New England.

lobby

Our lobby area creates an inviting atmosphere as guests arrive for the celebration. Guests will be greeted by one of our friendly coordinators as they find their seating placement and enjoy any other exciting personal and creative items or displays that are showcased. 

riverside lounge

Our lounge area offers a great view of the Nunckatessett River. Located adjacent to the Grand Ballroom, all in attendance will enjoy an intimate area for conversing and gathering while enjoying one another’s company as they celebrate the special day. 

private photo suite

This private photo suite, is adjacent to the grand ballroom and is adorned with mid century decor and a built-in fireplace for a warm and comfortable atmosphere. This area is large enough to accommodate even the largest of photo groups and doubles as a space for any special grand introductions into the reception.
