  • One of the core staples with regards to how the ccb conducts business is the transparency that is offered. We try our hardest to provide all the information a customer needs including policies. We hide nothing but instead, we are proud to put this information not just in writing, but in a place easy to review.

    Our couples are encouraged to reach out and ask any questions about our policies. Our wedding concierge team will always answer questions about our policies and will do so in a way that is direct and honest. We are an open book doing business the way it should be done.

  • Payment Schedule
    The CCB has created a payment schedule which eliminates the burden of our customers having to make a large payment as their wedding date approaches. Our planning team understands that our customers live very busy lives, and with this in mind, we streamlined the payment process by creating our online payment portal. We accept credit card payments online as well as in person payments via credit card, bank check, and cash. There are no additional fees for credit card transactions. All payments are non-refundable and any overpayments can be used toward event upgrades. Although we are only too happy to schedule an appointment to take your payment in person, most customers enjoy the convenience of making online payments.

    The required payment schedule is $2500 per payment including an initial deposit as well as payments due 15, 12, 9, 6, and 3 months prior to the event date. The final payment is due 10 days prior to the event date.


    Administration Fee and Sales Tax
    A 20% administration fee will be applied to the total cost of your wedding prior to any discounts. The administration fee does not represent a gratuity. A 7% MA meals and sales tax will be applied to the grand total cost of your wedding.

    Package Credits
    Services and/or vendors not utilized that are included in your package are not eligible for package credits. 

    Children's Meals and Vendors' Meals
    Meals for children 5 and under are $25.00. Meals for children 6-12 are discounted 50% off of the package price. Special children’s meals are available upon request. Meals for vendors are discounted 50% off of the package price.

    Price Guarantee
    We guarantee that your package price will not change between the date of your signed contract and your wedding date.

    Food and Beverages
    All food and beverages must be supplied by the Canoe Club Ballroom only. Wedding Cake is the only exception.

    Guest Count
    To ensure that we prepare for the right amount of guests, the final count needs to be confirmed fourteen (14) days prior to the wedding. This count is final and cannot be changed.

    Venue Rental Times
    Wedding packages include 5 hours of exclusive use of the grounds and venue. Have your wedding day start as early as 9am or as late as 7pm, you choose the time for your special day. Restrictions may apply. (additional time to “Get ready at the CCB”, for “Early Arrival at CCB”, and/or “Overtime” is based on timing and availability)

    Decorating
    You may provide your own decorations and flowers. Glitter, confetti, rice, birdseed, and gum is not to be used within our grounds, as table decorations, or as favors. Bubbles are permitted outside only. Dry ice machines are only permitted for first dance “dancing on the clouds”. Fog machines are not permitted. Please contact the CCB for more information. 

    Photobooth/Uplighting
    The “Photobooth” and all “Uplighting” must be provided only by the Canoe Club Ballroom.
