  • The Canoe Club Ballroom is set in the woods along the Nunckatessett River and has many different spaces to help make your day perfect. For decades, couples have taken advantage of our two acres of beautifully landscaped, riverside courtyard to create the perfect scenic view to host their wedding ceremonies and to take amazing timeless photos. Indoors, our ballroom boasts the largest hardwood dance floor in New England as well as plenty of space for even the largest wedding. The CCB has private spaces for our couples as well as plenty of areas for guests to enjoy including our lounge area with a river view. Our secluded spot nestled deep in nature will wow your guests while providing the perfect spot for you special day.

Our Grand Ballroom offers an elegant wedding reception experience for you and your guests on your special day. Your guests will first enjoy a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres followed by a reception including a four-course meal, dancing on the largest dance floor in New England, and creating enough memories to last a lifetime. 

indoor ceremonies

Our spacious interior offers a perfect and intimate setting for your wedding ceremony. With enough seating for all of your guests, your friends and family will enjoy watching your ceremony and exchanging of vows within our elegant ballroom. Our climate-controlled space provides the perfect ceremony location during inclement weather or any time of the year that an indoor ceremony is preferred.

Our lobby area creates an inviting atmosphere for your guests as they arrive for your special day. Your guests will be greeted by one of our friendly coordinators as they find their seating placement and enjoy any other exciting personal and creative items or displays you wish to showcase. 

riverside lounge

Our lounge area offers a great view of the Nunckatessett River. Located adjacent to the Grand Ballroom, your guests will enjoy an intimate area for conversing and gathering while enjoying one another’s company on your special day. 

wedding party suite and photo room

This private suite, is adjacent to the grand ballroom and is adorned with mid century decor and a built-in fireplace for a warm and comfortable atmosphere. This area is large enough to accommodate even the largest of wedding parties and also doubles as a photo room during your cocktail hour for any formal indoor photographs.

This room was designed so that both members of the happy couple are provided with their very own private area on the wedding day.

With plenty of space, an oversized full-length mirror, and a vanity stocked with anything you could need, this private space will be of great use on your wedding day for changing, makeup touchups, and wardrobe attention.
